Highwood Montana
I went out to the farm that my Mother was raised in Highwood Montana. East of Great Falls about 30 miles. This farm was sold to the neighboring McGowan family during the depression. They moved the red barn that my Grandfather built closer to their home. The picture of the Highwood mountains was taken from the farm. My mom said they had to go get the cows for milking often from the coulee as seen in the photo with the mountains in the background.
