Back in Montana

Here is a picture of a Hollyhock I grew from seeds from the Dyckman Farmhouse. The last farmhouse in Manhattan. The plant should be a little bigger, but some deer have been eating on it. I put a box around it to protect it.

Here is a pictures I took June 26. The bee with the white spot is the queen bee.

This is a poppy on our farm. We have lots of them. My Great Grandfather planted them about a 100 years ago and they have spread alot. There are thousands of them. The bees really like the pollen.

I planted this Hollyhock from seeds from the Dyckman farmhouse in Manhattan on 204th Street and Broadway. It should be bigger, but the deer have been eating on it a little. I put a box around it to protect it a big. The Dyckman farmhouse is the last farmhouse in Manhattan.

http://dyckmanfarmhouse.org/ A couple of pictures from our cabin on Memorial Day. They weather was pretty cold and as you can see it snowed in the higher elevations. The name of the mountain is Castle Reef. It looks somewhat like a castle when is not covered up with clouds.

This is the Capital building in Helena, Montana. Across the street from my office.
